01We are not a healthcare provider

We provide yoga, movement, breathwork and meditation instruction for general wellbeing. We are not doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists or psychiatrists, and we are not registered with any UK healthcare regulator such as the General Medical Council, the Nursing and Midwifery Council or the Health and Care Professions Council.

No statement made by us, by an instructor, or anywhere on this website should be understood as a diagnosis, a prognosis, a treatment plan, a prescription, or clinical advice of any kind.

02We make no therapeutic claims

We do not claim that our classes or programmes diagnose, treat, cure, alleviate or prevent any disease, illness, injury or medical condition, whether physical or mental.

Where participants describe personal benefits, those accounts are individual experiences. They are not evidence of a clinical effect and should not be read as a promise of any outcome for you.

If you have seen any claim on our materials that appears to suggest otherwise, please tell us so we can correct it.

03Always speak to a clinician first

Consult your GP or an appropriately qualified clinician before starting any new physical or breathing practice, and particularly if you are pregnant or postnatal, have a heart, lung, blood-pressure or circulatory condition, have epilepsy, glaucoma or a detached retina, have a spinal, joint or soft-tissue injury, have had recent surgery, have diabetes, have an eating disorder, are receiving treatment for a mental health condition, or are taking medication that affects blood pressure, heart rate, balance, alertness or blood sugar.

Some breathing practices, including any form of breath retention or rapid breathing, are not safe for everyone. Do not attempt them without clinical clearance if any of the above applies to you.

Never stop, reduce or change prescribed medication or treatment because of anything you learn from us. Speak to the clinician who prescribed it.

04Your responsibility during sessions

You know your body better than we do. Work within your own limits, do not push into pain, and stop immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, nauseous, short of breath, or experience chest pain or any unusual symptom.

Tell your instructor before the session about any condition, injury, pregnancy or medication that could affect your safety, and tell them during the session if something does not feel right.

If you take part in an online session, you do so unsupervised. Make sure your space is clear and safe, and that someone is contactable if you feel unwell.

05In an emergency

If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, stop immediately and call 999, or contact NHS 111 for urgent but non-emergency advice. Do not wait to contact us first.

If you are struggling with your mental health and need to talk to someone, your GP can help, and Samaritans can be reached free on 116 123 at any hour.

07Limits of this disclaimer
